As AI becomes more deeply embedded in the research process, the conversation has begun to shift. The question is no longer whether AI can be used in Consumer Insights, but whether it is being used well.

  • Which data is considered relevant,
  • How findings are interpreted and contextualized, and
  • How insight is translated into implication.

AI can assist with many parts of this process. It can accelerate analysis, surface patterns, and make information more accessible. But it cannot own judgment in the way a human researcher must.

Ultimately, responsibility in AI use is not a constraint. It’s the path to empowerment.

When AI is grounded in strong research systems, clear standards, and shared accountability, it enables insights leaders to:

  • Respond with confidence rather than hesitation,
  • Execute research with clarity and control,
